Install weblogic dev in Windows, weblogicdev

In the development process, there is a embarrassing situation: you need to use a software, but you only need to use a small part of the software, which is a waste of disk space, CPU space is wasted. For example, Weblogic provides many functions in the full version. However, during development, you only need to create a data source, deploy a project, and then perform a test. Therefore, a simplified Weblogic (Weblogic development version) is necessary during the development process (if the computer configuration is poor, you can also use the full version as needed ).

1. Select the appropriate Weblogic version.

Select the appropriate version from the middleware download page on the Oracle official website.

Or download it directly from my Baidu cloud disk.

I downloaded wls1213_devzip_update1, which is the first updated zip package of the development version in the 1.3.0 minor version of weblogic12c.

2. Start installation 2.1. Set environment variables.

First, set the environment variable:

• JAVA_HOME: Specifies the JDK installation directory. my options are C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.7.0 _ 75.
• MW_HOME: Specifies the weblogic server Directory. My directory is D: \ Develop \ Weblogic \ wls12130.
• JAVA_VENDOR: Specifies the virtual machine type. Sun or Oracle indicates that Sun's HotSpot virtual machine is used, and Oracle indicates that Oracle's JRockit virtual machine is used.
• VM_TYPE: Specifies the virtual machine type.

Note: JAVA_VENDOR and VM_TYPE can be set in the latest wls12130. The default values are Sun and HotSpot, as shown below:

2.2 execute configure. cmd

Run the configure. cmd file in the % MW_HOME % directory in the cmd command window. This process will decompress some jar files and check whether domain is configured:

2.3 create domain

The following two methods can be used to create weblogic domain, but the default names are different. The default domain created on the first character interface is mydomain, and the default domain created on the second graphic interface is base_domain, more than why. (According to the DRY principle, the two methods should call the same part of the Creation code, so different names are not generated, but the result is that two sets of code are used here .)

1. When you run the configure. cmd command above, enter Y, and the prompt "Enter the user name and password" appears:

Note: The password must contain at least 8 letters, numbers, and at least one number or special character. Otherwise, an error is returned.

2. Run config. cmd in % MW_HOME % \ oracle_common \ common \ bin to call the graphic interface to create a domain:

Enter the corresponding configuration as prompted. Generally, you only need to enter the user name and password.

You can click "Next" in other places and then click "CREATE ".

Wait until the domain is created successfully.

When the prompt is displayed, click Finish and start weblogic server.

2.4 start server

Use startWeblogic in the domain directory (my directory is D: \ Develop \ Weblogic \ wls12130 \ user_projects \ domains \ base_domain. when cmd is started, no error is reported during this process, and the words "Server state changed to RUNNING" appears at last, indicating that the startup is successful.

You can go to the console through http: // localhost: 7001/console and start using weblogic server.
