Install MySQL and MySQL-ADMIN in Ubuntu

Install the basic MySQL program in Ubuntu: sudoapt-getinstallmysql-servermysql-client. In this process, the mysql password is configured and then MySQL-ADMINsudoapt-getinstallmysql-admin is installed. Note: it is said that the libmysqlclient15-dev package also installed, or there will be problems. Some basic mysql management:

Install the basic MySQL program in Ubuntu:

Sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client

Then install MySQL-ADMIN

Sudo apt-get install mysql-admin

Note:

It is said that the libmysqlclient15-dev package also installed, or there will be problems.

Some basic mysql management:

Check mysql running status through port view: sudo netstat-tap | grep mysql

Mysql start stop: sudo/etc/init. d/mysql restar or stop or start

Password Management: sudo mysqladmin-u root password newpassword

Most operations can be performed in mysql under the main menu-> Application-> programming (two graphical interface tools ).
