The software requires only Windows 98+PWS (Personal Web Server), NT, LINUX, Win 20,001 is not installed. The installation process is as follows:
1, you can install PWS from Windows 98 (formal or OEM version) of the installation disk, choose a typical installation or custom installation, using the default installation directory C:inetpubwwwroot (complete stand-alone add-onspwssetup.exe to the server).
2, software download: Http://www.php.net/distributions/php-4.0.0-Win32.zip or http://soft.km169.net/soft/wybc/php-4.0.0-win32.zip!
3, with the decompression tool to extract the Php-4.0.0-win32.zip to the PHP installation directory, such as c:php (do not say you do not WinZip AH)!
4, the PHP installation directory under the Php.ini-dist file copy to the C:windows directory, and will c:windowsphp.ini-dist renamed C:windowsphp.ini;
5, the PHP installation directory under the Msvcrt.dll and Php4ts.dll copy to the C:windowssystem directory, if the C:windowssystem directory already exist in these files, please do not cover (in advance to find out if there is no Msvcrt.dll);
6, modify the C:windowsphp.ini:
1) will extension_dir set to the PHP installation directory, such as: Extension_dir =c:php (in the php.ini left look right, you can find);
2 Configure the dynamic link library (DLL) to load, note that you must ensure that only the dynamic link libraries that exist under the PHP installation directory can be loaded, and if there are different dynamic link library names, please change to the dynamic link library with that version: Php_calendar.dll, Php_imap.dll, PHP The _ldap.dll is consistent, so the configuration bar for the dynamic link library is as follows (be sure; remove):
