When you install SQL Server, "a previous program installation has created a pending file operation on the installation computer." You must restart the computer before you run Setup "error. Can't go on. After referring to the relevant information, the following steps are basically resolved:
1) Remove SQL Server completely from Add/Remove Programs.
2) Delete the SQL Server directory that is not deleted.
3) Click Start Run Input: Regedit open the registry and locate the following directory in Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\ Session Locate the PendingFileRenameOperations item in the manager, double-click, and delete the contents. This allows you to clear the Install pending project. Reboot and reinstall.
