My computer is Lenovo y450. Next I will take my computer as an example to introduce the installation process. Other computers are similar.
1. If the BIOS is directly set to ahci during win7 installation, the official Lenovo ahci driver can be directly installed after win7 installation;
2. If the BIOS is set to ide when Windows 7 is installed, the ahci driver cannot be installed under Windows 7, and the system will prompt that the driver does not meet the minimum requirements. If the driver is changed to ahci In the bios, the blue screen is displayed when you enter the system. You can do the following:
Exit all Windows-basedProgram.
Click Start, type Regedit in the Start search box, and then press Enter.
If the "User Account Control" dialog box is displayed, click "continue ".
Find and click the following registry subitem:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE // system // CurrentControlSet // services // msahci
In the right pane, right-click "start" in the "name" column and click "modify ".
In the "value data" box, type 0 and click "OK". Here, the initial value of the value data is hexadecimal "3 ".
On the File menu, click exit to close the registry editor. Restart the system, press f2 to enter bios and change to "ahci", save and exit, and enter win7 normally.
After entering win7, the Achi driver will be automatically installed and we will be prompted to restart. After the restart, we can install the official ahci driver provided by Lenovo.
