Excel link is a plug-in that enables interaction between Microsoft Excel and Matlab in Microsoft Windows.
When using Excel link, you do not have to leave the Excel environment. Excel Link provides 11 function functions to link and operate data.
1. Excel link Installation
In Windows, you must first install Excel, then MATLAB and Excel link.
Excel link is installed with MATLAB, that is, select Excel link in the MATLAB installation component
To set it in Excel, follow these steps:
1.1 start Microsoft Excel, click the tool menu, and run the [load macro] command to obtain the result, as shown in.
1.2. In the open [Macro loading] dialog box, click [browse] and select the installation directory of MATLAB... excllink in the \ toolbox \ exlink subdirectory. xla file, and then click OK, as shown in.
1.3 return to the [load macro] window. The [Excel link] option is selected, as shown in. Click OK. The Excel link plug-in loads MATLAB and displays its running window.

According to the above settings, each time Excel is started, the Excel link and Matlab will automatically run, resulting in a slow start of Excel, so you can set it to start Matlab as needed.

Note the following:
1. Excel link function names are case-insensitive, while Matlab function names are case-sensitive.
2. An Excel worksheet equation usually starts with "+" or "=.
3. In most Excel link functions, there are two ways to define variables: direct definition and indirect definition.
