Today, we set up a hadoop environment and installed Ubuntu on a virtual machine. However, Windows cannot transmit files to the Virtual Machine System, which is inconvenient. I have been searching for the Internet for a long time and have tried many methods. However, the following method is feasible and I hope it will help readers.
Step 1: Go to the system, click Install VMware Tools on the VM, and return to the desktop to view the CDROM icon of VMware Tools.
Step 2: unzip and decompress the file "here ".
Step 3: Right-click the blank area in this folder, click Properties, click "Permissions" in the window, and change the content of "folder access" to "Create and delete files.
Step 4: Return to the preceding directory, click the vmware-tools-distrib folder, and open the terminal (Application-attachment-terminal ).
Step 5: Enter "ls" in the command line to list the folder files. Then enter "CD vmware-tools-distrib" to specify the folder, enter "ls" to list the contents of this folder, and then enter "sudo. /vmware-install.pl, enter the user password to start the installation. Step 6: Next, enter n more and Yes n more. Press it slowly.
Step 7: you can close the window until you see --- the VMware team, and then restart it to get a new look.
Finally, drag the Windows file to the Ubuntu system.
