2. Click CentOS PublicMirror List

4. Select the place you're from and clickHTTP

5. Select the latest version of the current directory here for6.4/

6. Click on the table of contentsisos/ -x86_64/, and finally download the mirrored ISO file. (Click the link below to download the ISO directly)

Second, create a blank virtual machine (for installing Linux CentOS 6.4)
1. Open the virtual machine, and click New Virtual Machine, menu, file, continue.

2. Click Continue.

3. Select [I'll install the operating system later] and click Continue.

4. Select operating system: Linux, Version: CentOS 64-bit (choose according to your own download version), click Continue.

5. Enter the name of the virtual machine, then select the storage path and click Continue.

6. Specify the number of virtual machine CPUs and click Continue.

7. Specify the virtual machine memory and click Continue.

8. Select the network type: Use bridged network and click Continue.

9. Select the I/O Controller type: LSI logic, click Continue. This means that it is better to make the system boot compatible.

10. Select the disk type: Create a new Virtual disk and click Continue.

11. Select a disk type: SCSI, click Continue.

12. Specify the disk capacity and select a single file to store the virtual disk and click Continue.

13. Specify the disk file name and click Continue.

14. Configure the information to confirm that there is no problem, click Finish.

third, the installation of Linux CentOS 6.4 officially started on the virtual machine
1. Edit Virtual machine settings, select cd/dvd-> browse (select Image file), OK, open this virtual electromechanical source.

2. CD-ROM Boot interface, select "Install or upgrade an existing system" and press ENTER.

9. Set the hostname: Localhost.localdomain, click "Next".

10. Select the time zone, default to "Asia/Shanghai" and click "Next".

11. Set the administrator password (that is, the root account password) and click "Next".

12. Select the hard disk space allocation: Choose "Use all Space" (will automatically allocate space, more than the customization save a lot), click "Next".

13. After the hard drive is automatically assigned, click "Next".

14. Hard Drive Format warning: Click "Format" and click "Next".

15. Store Write Warning: Click "Write changes to Disk" and click "Next".

16. In the format ..., click "Next" when you are done.

17. The installation location of the system boot program, by default, click "Next".

18. Select the installation package, select "Desktop", I have not used Linux, learn slowly. Click "Next".

Minimal Desktop: A basic desk system that contains less software.
Minimal: Basic system, does not contain any optional packages.
Basic Server: Platform support for the basic system installed, not including the desktop.
Database Server: Basic system platform, plus MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, no desktop.
Web Server: Basic system platform, plus Php,web Server, with MySQL and PostgreSQL database clients, no desktop.
Virtual Host: Basic system plus virtualization platform.
Software development Workstation: Contains more packages, basic system, virtualization platform, desktop environment, development tools.

19. The official CentOS installation begins and takes about 15 minutes to complete and then click "Next".

20. Congratulations, the CentOS installation is complete.

Four, configure Linux CentOS 6.4 
      1. Click "Reboot" to start the page  
     
     2. Welcome interface, all the way "forward".  
     
     3. License: Select Yes, I agree to the license agreement  
     
     4. Create a common user (non-administrator)  
     
     5. Set Date and time  
      
     6. Set the Kdump size (kernel crash dump), by default, click "Next", click "Yes" in the Prompt box.  
    

v. Login to the Linux CentOS 6.4
1. Enter your password and click "Sign in".
