Problem Description:

Cause Analysis:

After the local IE upgrade to IE11, the local Group Policy about IE policy template does not synchronize updates in real-time, so there is no "enterprise Mode" option in the local Group Policy IE settings option;

Similarly, the server R2 or SERVER2012/R2 domain server comes with IE8 policy template, the Group Policy template does not have the IE 11 Enterprise mode related option settings, so can not find the corresponding policy options and batch GPO enabling settings, etc.;

Steps to resolve:

The client updates the IE Group Policy template by updating the Internet Explorer 11,server server via patch update:

3. Run the command line interface as Administrator and update the INETRES.ADMX file with the following command:

4. Update the target language's Inetres.adml file with the following command under Run command line interface as Administrator:

copy/y%windir%\kb2841134\<languagecode>\inetres.adml%systemroot%\windows\policydefinitions\< Languagecode>\inetres.adml

5. Perform the policy refresh command on the server side and reopen Group Policy for viewing.
