IPhone 5 is nothing new-apple seems to be taking advantage

I think many people will feel the same as me after the iPhone 5 release-disappointed. There are almost no new things apart from hardware and shape changes (no wonder someone says the iPhone 5 is a long-drawing iPhone 4S ). Although the operating system is the latest iOS 6, the iPhone of the old version can be upgraded to iOS 6. Apple seems to have begun eating old books.

In fact, this trend had already emerged when the iPhone 4S was released. IPhone 4S and iPhone 4 do not have many upgrades, but we have also added a product that Siri did not have in the previous generation. However, the function of the iPhone 5 is basically the same as that of the iPhone 4S. Maybe Steve Jobs's departure also took away all Apple's ideas. So that they can only make a fuss about the appearance and hardware. What impressed everyone most was the iPhone 5: lighter, thinner, and larger screens. In addition, there is nothing to be circled.

Most of Apple's revenue is on the iPhone, which is different from other companies that adopt machine-sea tactics. It only has one mobile phone. Now, the only mobile phone has also fallen into the conventional architecture of improving hardware. I once pointed out in my blog "The Future of the IT industry will be dominated by the software industry" that hardware is external, and software systems are the true core competitiveness. The iPhone is able to get started in the mobile phone field, and the iPad is able to create a tablet era. The good user experience of IOS is indispensable. I have always believed that Apple is like a fashion employee in the IT industry, and its products are indeed superior in appearance and industrial design than other companies. The iPhone is indeed more upscale than other mobile phones (of course, the price is much higher ). However, when the iPhone has become an arcade, what does apple rely on to attract people to buy new iPhones? Does it rely solely on upgrades in hardware and changes in appearance? What is the difference with what other mobile phone manufacturers do? How long can it be supported only by the fanatics of "fruit powders ?!

In fact, I have never thought that Apple has made any innovations on the iPhone. They just integrated the existing technology and added a beautiful look. The reason why iPhone and iPad are popular is software: good user experience of iOS and massive apps in app store. Through system upgrades, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users can enjoy similar or even the same experience as iPhone 5. I don't think I will pay for updating my iPhone if it's not a very crazy "fruit powder.

I feel like apple and Nokia. The Symbian system was almost unified, and Nokia was also in full swing, and the applications on the Symbian system were also versatile. However, Nokia is stuck in its own defense, which leads to today's situation. I don't know if Nokia can make another comeback with Windows Phone 8 like Motorola's Android, but it has brought a warning to all mobile phone manufacturers: it is impossible to eat old books by relying solely on the glory of your past! The iPhone 5 was released to me: Apple seems to be less exciting than it was in the past few years. This may be the bottleneck that all mobile phone manufacturers have encountered today. I don't know if there will be any company that will bring a new innovation to the mobile phone industry like Apple launched the iPhone in the past? Maybe Google
Glass is the future direction of personal mobile devices. (For details, see Google Glass-the technological innovation of personal mobile devices.)

These are some of my thoughts on iPhone 5 as an IT practitioner, which may be somewhat biased. Do not spray it when you see it!
