After installing the latest XP SP3 system, you can find that there is no IE icon on the desktop. Right-click the desktop, select Properties, select the "desktop" tab, and click the "Custom desktop" button, the IE icon is not displayed.
This is not a version issue. Microsoft hides it in response to anti-monopoly attacks, but the option is still there, but you cannot see it. The solution is simple:
First, open "my computer" and click "up" to find out What IE exists. You can simply pull it on the desktop.
2. Open disk D and create a new folder. Remember to create a folder named "Internet Explorer. {871c5316-42a0-1069-a2ea-08002b30309d} ", without quotation marks, and then pull the folder directly to the desktop to see What IE has reproduced.
Third: desktop -- Right-click -- Property -- select desktop property card -- custom desktop, hook up my desired icon my documents, network neighbors, my computer, do not click the following to confirm, press alt + I (if there is an IE icon on the desktop, press ALT + I to hide it), click OK, return to display attributes, and click OK, the familiar IE icon appears on the desktop.
You can find that these three methods are not shortcuts.
