Bouncy Castle is a lightweight, open-source cryptographic package for the Java platform. It supports a large number of cryptographic algorithms and provides the implementation of JCE 1.2.1. Since bouncy Castle is designed to be lightweight, it can be run from J2SE 1.4 to J2ME (including MIDP) platforms. It is the only complete cryptographic package that runs on MIDP.
