JavaScript basic syntax

Source: Internet
Author: User
JavaScript's syntax is similar to the Java language, with each statement ";" End, statement block with {...}. However, JavaScript does not force a ";" at the end of each statement, and the engine responsible for executing JavaScript code in the browser automatically complements the end of each statement .

Note: Having the JavaScript engine automatically add semicolons in some cases alters the semantics of the program, resulting in inconsistent running results and expectations.

Comments:

A string that begins with//until the end of the line is treated as a line comment, and the comment is visible to the developer, and the JavaScript engine automatically ignores

Another block comment is to wrap multiple lines of characters with/*...*/.

Case: Note that JavaScript is strictly case-sensitive, and if the case is mistaken, the program will either error or run abnormally.
