Kali Linux 2.0 tips (long-term update)

1. After installing the system, I want to change the system default language (Chinese change to English).

   Dpkg-reconfigure locales

   Select en_US (UTF8)
   

2. Menus are not easy to edit without a menu editor.

   Apt-get Install Alacarte
   

3. Replace the default GNOME desktop with a small, fast Xfce desktop

   Step 1:apt-get Install kali-defaults kali-root-login desktop-base xfce4 xfce4-places-plugin xfce4-goodies
   

   Step 2:update-alternatives--config X-session-manager

4. Weevely run failure, display "Importerror:no module named Sockshandler", the official forum can search for a workaround:

   Step 1:download last pysocks from Python site https://pypi.python.org/pypi/PySocks/

   Step 2:./setup.py Install (the forum said to setup.py build first, but it seems not necessary)

   Step 3:enjoy weevely!
