Search for specific text
1. Click the "Show" button in the toolbar and choose Show Find and Replace.
2, in the Search bar, enter the word or phrase you want to find.
When you enter text, the match is highlighted.
3. To find words that match the capitalization you specify, or to limit search results to the entire word that you enter, click the Advanced Options button and choose Match Case or whole word matching.
4, click the arrow button to find the next or previous match.
To view or clear the most recent search, click the arrow next to the Magnifier.
Replace the found text
1. Click the "Show" button in the toolbar and choose Show Find and Replace.
2. Click the Advanced Options button in the Find and Replace window and choose Find and Replace.
You can also select other options to refine your search, such as "whole word matching" and "case sensitivity."
3. Enter a word or phrase in the first column.
When you enter text, the match is highlighted. The first occurrence is selected and highlighted in yellow.
4. Enter a replacement word or phrase in the second column.
If you leave the Replace column blank, all instances of the found text are deleted when you replace the found text.
5. Use the buttons at the bottom of the Find panel to view and change text matches:
Replace all: Replace all text matches with alternate text.
Replace and find: replaces the selected match and moves to the next match.
Replace: Replaces the selected match with the alternate text, but does not move to the next match.
Previous and next arrows: moves to the previous or next match without making changes.
