Knowledge Point Analysis:
Currently, the desktop and All-in-one machines with Windows 8 preinstalled by the factory are combined with a uefi+gpt hard drive, and a secure boot is enabled, but the mode boot is not supported for Windows 8 and Win7 64-bit flagship (MSDN) operating systems. So if you need to modify other systems, such as Windows XP, you must work in the traditional bios+mbr mode.
Note: If you do not modify any settings, you will not be able to boot the other operating system directly from the CD or storage media such as U disk.
Operation Steps:
Special Reminders:
1. This operation will cause all data on the hard disk to be emptied. Including one-key restore function will also be cleared, if you need to restore the WINDOWS8 system and one-click Restore function, you need to send to the service station for recovery, free recovery within 1 years (GPT partition table hard disk conversion to MBR partition table hard disk needs to delete all the original partitions, Include hidden partitions).
2. Installation of operating systems such as Windows XP must use a genuine installation CD, so that when the partition is recreated, the installer automatically converts the GPT partition table into an MBR partition table, and does not recommend that you repartition the partition using the Ghost disc, the ghost U disk, and other third-party partitioning tools, This can result in unpredictable situations where the system does not install properly or does not boot properly.
3. If you have data on your hard disk, you must back up the data for your entire hard disk, not just on C, on the desktop, but on my documents, and on other data disks.
Support Model: This document only applies to Lenovo factory pre-installed Windows 8 commercial desktop computers and All-in-one computers, including models: Open Days, Yantian, Kai days, ThinkCentre, New thinkcentre.

For the SM Bus controller, this is the motherboard driver.
Workaround:
1. Locate the readme.mht in the disc, search chipset driver, find the corresponding AMD motherboard driver or Intel motherboard driver.
2. Go to Lenovo's official website drive download area for host number (factory number) search, find the Win XP system corresponding to the motherboard driver, download and install.
If it is a PCI simple communication controller, this is the Amt drive.
Workaround:
1. Find the Lx_tools folder in the CD and install AMT driver.
2. Go to Lenovo's official website to drive the download area for the host number (factory number) search, find the Win XP system corresponding to the Amt driver, download and install.
