Lenovo Notebook uses one-click Recovery [graphic tutorial]

Lenovo's one-click recovery operation normally only restores the C disk. If your computer has been re-divided into hard disk partitions, you must be very careful, because it may cause loss of data on other hard disks.

Therefore, to prevent exceptions, you must back up important data on all disks before restoring them, copy important files to other computers or mobile storage devices to avoid loss of important data.

1. Start one-click Recovery

Method 1:

If the desktop has a one-click recovery icon, click it, as shown in the figure above.

The large button in the figure above is the on-host key, and the small button with an arrow on the right is the one-click recovery switch. This switch is effective when the computer is off.

To avoid system recovery caused by misoperations, the new Lenovo one-click recovery system places the one-click recovery button on the side, as shown in the figure above, when you need to find a button with an arrow.

Method 2: Start the instance, press F8, locate the recovery or data recovery to the factory status, and select gradually. Remember to select "simplified Chinese" as the language ".

Method 3: The above method does not work. You can try the shortcut key and press F2 at startup.

Method 4: If Windows 8 is pre-installed, try F11 or Fn + F11.

2. One-click Recovery

The following figure shows the one-click recovery interface. Different one-click Recovery versions have different interfaces, but most of them are similar.

As shown in the preceding figure, if you have performed system backup, select "recover from user backup". If there is no backup, select "recover from initial backup ".

As shown in the figure above, the recovery process is in progress. Note that during this process, no matter the speed or speed, do not easily power off or shut down. Otherwise, it will be difficult to recover.

Use backup files and one-click recovery in the Lenovo rescue system

Procedure:

Step 1: back up important files on drive C

Back up important files and data on drive C to other drive letters to prevent data loss caused by one-click recovery.

Restart the computer. Before the computer is started, press the "F2" key or one key in the upper-right corner of the keyboard to restore the computer until the "Lenovo rescue system" interface appears. Click "file management ", select the data disk C to be backed up and click copy to another disk to prevent important data loss after one-click recovery. Click back to the previous step.

Step 2: use "one-click Recovery"

Restore your system disk (usually drive C) to the factory status, or the last time you backed up your system disk.

Click "restore", select "restore factory status", press enter to confirm, press the "E" key on the keyboard to continue, press any key on the keyboard to restart the computer, and reset the computer.

Click next. We recommend that you select "enable auto update now to help protect my computer". If no network connection is available, select "disable now ".

Click next. If you want to register Microsoft, select yes. Otherwise, select No. Click next, enter the user name you want, click next, and click finish.

Note: If a power failure or abnormal exit occurs during the recovery process, file damage, data loss, or even hidden partition file damage will occur!
