(1) install required Libraries

apt-get install automakeapt-get install libglib2.0-devapt-get install libvte-devapt-get install libgtk2.0-dev

(2) download the xgcom source code package

tar -xvf xgcom-0.04.2.tgzcd xgcom-0.04.2-src/

(3) Compile and install xgcom

./autogen.shmakemake install

(4) Start xgcom

xgcom
