1. Installing the FCITX IME

Because Sogou Input method is based on Fctix input method, so you need to install Fctix

• Open System Settings
  

• Enter input Method and click Add Support for Fctix after Fctix, as shown in after installation
  

1. Install Sogou Input Method

• Download: Sogou IME for Linux

• Open into the installation screen and click Install. After the installation is complete as shown:
  

• Restart your computer after installation is complete

1. Choose Sogou Input Method

• Open Fctix Configuration
  

• Click the Add button below
  

• Find Sogou pinyin and add to IME, installation complete
  

1. After the installation is complete, you can switch the IME using the default shortcut key Ctrl+space.

2. Occasionally, the installation does not display the candidate Word box, but only one border. This problem only need to switch the sogou pinyin skin can be resolved.
