Linux Mint (Application Software-binary file editor: bless)

In our work, we will operate on binary files. In Windows, of course we will use the ultraedit software. I will not talk about the powerful software. I believe many people will understand it. The software also has the Linux version, but it is a paid software, so it is not placed in the Linux software source. If you want to install the software, you need to download the installation package from the official website. For these two reasons, we are not going to use the software on Linux.

In Linux,We can use the bless software as our binary file editor.. Bless is an open-source software written by Alexandros Frantzis. We can use it only by complying with the GPL protocol. Of course, when it feels good, we can donate. The software has been placed in the Linux software source. We can install it through related commands. This software is not installed in the Linux system we use by default, so we need to install it by ourselves. The following is the installation process. For details, refer:

After the software is installed, we can use it. In the Mint, It is located under the programming menu of the Start Menu. Click the icon or use the terminal command bless to start the software. The main function of the software is to edit binary files. After opening a binary file, it can display the ASCII view of the binary file. In addition to basic editing functions, it also supports searching and replacing functions.
