Linux Oracle deletes archive logs, and linuxoracle

Oracle reported this error today: ORA-00257

Check that the archive logs of Oracle are full. Solution: Two

1. Increase the archive log size. 2. Delete useless archive logs. (select this solution)

In Linux:

Delete archive files in Linux
--> Su-oracle
--> Rman
--> RMAN> connect target sys/sys_passwd
--> RMAN> crosscheck archivelog all;
--> RMAN> delete archivelog all completed before 'sysdate-7 ';
Or
--> RMAN> delete expired archivelog all;

 

The execution of the red statement is slow and you have to wait patiently. Click Yes to execute the task.

Then, use the following statement to verify whether the system can log on normally.

---> Sqlplus/nolog
SQL> conn/as sysdba

Or

--> Sqlplus user/pwd @ AXXX
