Linux Oracle deletes archive logs
Today encountered Oracle reported such an error: ORA-00257 to view the next, the original Oracle archiving logs are full, Solution Two One: increase the size of the archive log two: delete useless archive logs (we chose this solution) without saying anything about the Linux Command: delete an archive file in Linux --> su-oracle --> rman --> RMAN> connect target sys/sys_passwd --> RMAN> crosscheck archivelog all; --> RMAN> delete archivelog all completed before 'sysdate-7'; or --> RMAN> delete expired archivelog all; the execution of red statements is slow, so be patient. Click "Yes" to run the command. Then, use the following statement to verify whether you can log on to the instance. ---> sqlplus/nolog SQL> conn/as sysdba or --> sqlplus user/pwd @ AXXX
