Linux Server Yum mount CD steps

1. Create a directory to mount Optical drive files

   mkdir  /root/zzx

2. Configure Yum source files

   Vim  /etc/yum.repos.d/yum.repo

   Add the following

   
   

   [base]

   Name=server

   Baseurl=file:///root/zzx/server

   enabled=1

   [ VT]

   NAME=VT

   Baseurl=file:///root/zzx/vt

   enabled=1

   [Cluster]

   Name=server

   Baseurl=file:///root/zzx/cluster

   enabled=1

   [clusterstorage]

   Name=server

   baseurl=file:/ Root/zzx/clusterstorage

   enabled=1

3. Mount Optical drive

   Umount-a   Clear mount point

   Mount/dev/cdrom/ ROOT/ZZX

4. Common errors

   Prompt:
   

   Downloading Packages:

   Warning:rpmts_hdrfromfdno: Header V3 DSA Signature:nokey, key ID 37017186

   Workaround: RPM--import/etc/pki/rpm-gpg/rpm*

5. with yum install software /p>

   Yum install httpd-y

   Yum Clean all//cleanup node
