SuSE Linux, a famous Linux system developer, last week released the latest Enterprise SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop operating system on the Linux Forum. This operating system is designed for large IT networks and is priced at $598. IT provides a user-friendly graphical user interface and has good compatibility with SUN's StarOffice 6.0 and Microsoft Office.
  
Another famous Linux vendor, Red Hat, also announced that the company plans to launch the Enterprise Edition Linux operating system for the first time in May. The estimated price is between $99 and $139. The BlueCurve graphic user interface is provided in the operating system. the upgraded Linux 2.4.2x kernel and Sun's Java Virtual Machine are updated to be compatible with Microsoft Windows-related applications. This enterprise-level operating system will further improve Red Hat's high-end server management. At the same time, Red Hat plans to release the latest Linux personal operating system in the fall.
  
Microsoft also responded positively to the frequent recruitment of Linux companies. Steve Balmer, CEO of Microsoft, said at an internal meeting last week that "non-profit software such as Linux and OpenOffice have very attractive performance and open source code in the market. This results in Microsoft's budget deviation and affects Microsoft's market share. We will accept their challenges !"
  
In the SuSE Linux Desktop evaluation meeting conducted by Denver Solutions Group, Linux expert Kevin Gates pointed out: "The release of the new Linux operating system will be of great significance for Linux to compete with Microsoft." According to comments from the industry, "while the market share of Linux companies is growing rapidly, Microsoft continues to increase its software prices and uses unfair methods to earn consumer money.
