Yesterday, Microsoft unveiled its latest network technology, live mesh. Live Mesh is a platform that combines software and services. Microsoft regards this platform as a software platform for network data centers. It connects entertainment and business software with consumer electronics through network software, for example, Microsoft Xbox, Zune, Windows Mobile, and even Mac computers in the future. This platform seamlessly shares files and programs on the network through the data center. In addition, Live Mesh provides a variety of services, including remote computer control and data storage.

Live Mesh includes a platform that allows developers to define and model digital relationships between users and other devices, data, and users through open data models and protocols; A powerful cloud computing service system is provided through the Microsoft Data Center; local programs can be run offline and software clients can be seamlessly integrated with cloud computing services on the platform.

It is reported that the launch of Microsoft Live Mesh is the most important step for Microsoft to prepare for the transformation from the PC field to cloud computing.
