1. Open the Terminal (terminal) application.
2. Type: sudo rm-rf
   Note: Type a space after "-RF". The command will not execute without a space. Do not press the Return key before step 6.
3. Open your trash.
4. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.
5. Drag all of the contents of the Trash to the Terminal (Terminal) window. This will cause the Terminal window to automatically fill in the name and location of each entry in your trash.
6. Press the Return key.
