Configuring the alias for MySQL and mysqladmin

$ vim ~/.BASHRC

Note: Configure the appropriate file based on the shell you are accustomed to using

Add two lines

Alias mysql=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqlalias mysqladmin=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqladmin

Step 4.

After the installation is complete, a prompt box should appear such as:

A temporary password is generated for [email protected]: xxxxx

Such a hint, followed by the colon is the initial password

Now you need to set your own password

$ mysqladmin-u root-p Password MyPwd

Of course, you can also change the initial password in other ways
