Mac OS X 10.2 Perfect Internet design

Mac OS X 10.2 is developed using Internet-enabled technology, so it is possible to fully support standard Internet technology and allow users to easily access any Internet-standards-based network. Mac OS X 10.2 provides users with faster and more convenient network functionality through a built-in Internet application and an automatic upgrade of online Help and software completed by the Internet. Mail allows users to create and browse e-mail messages that are rich in content, contain various fonts, pictures, or even sounds.

You can use mail to provide yourself with a mac.com or Internet e-mail account and get a proprietary email address: name (English letter) @ Mac.com, with custom features such as mail forwarding and automatic response, your email is stored on Apple's Internet server and maintained, so just use standard e-mail programs to access your mail almost anywhere, from any computer. You can customize your own toolbars, create new mailboxes and folders, and even create rules that categorize, filter, and automatically reply to messages based on custom standards.

Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most popular web browser developed for Mac OS X 10.2, which supports web surfing, downloading files, online shopping, and so on, as shown in Figure 1-7.

Internet connect through Apple's Easy-to-use Internet connectivity solution, you can quickly and easily surf the web without having to make complex settings.

Internet Connect provides a simple dial-up connection to access your airport settings. With the built-in status monitor, you can view your ISP and airport connections at a glance.
