MacOS 10.13 High Sierra odoo development configuration

Basically, as with the MacOS 10.12.x Sierra configuration process, see:

Error encountered when starting Odoo on the command line:valueerror: unknown locale: UTF-8

To edit the. Bash_profile, proceed as follows:

Open command Line terminal

Open ~/.bash_profile

In the popup text editing window, add two lines to the end of the file

Export Lc_all=en_us. Utf-8export Lang=en_us. UTF-8

Close the editor and command line to run the command so that the settings take effect:

SOURCE ~/.bash_profile

Then you can start Odoo running with a similar command:

Odoo10/odoo-bin-c odoo10.conf
