one, set the page

The paper is usually printed in B4 paper, crosswise and in two columns, so the page should be set before making it. Start Word 2003 (similar to other versions of the operation) and create a new blank document. Execute the file → page Setup command, open the Page Setup dialog box, switch to the Paper tab, set the paper size to B4 paper, and then switch to the Margins tab, set the margin, and select the landscape orientation (Figure 1). After all settings are complete, make sure to return.

  Second, the production of sealing line

Formal test papers have sealed lines, we can use a text box to make.

Go to the header and footer edit status by performing the view → headers and footers command. Then execute the Insert → text box vertical command, drag a text box in the document (Figure 2), and type the characters and underscores in the style of Figure 2.

Tip: Because the underline in Word cannot be displayed at the beginning of a line, we enter a "loaded" word at the beginning of the gutter, and select it to set the color to "white" to "hide" it.

Set the cursor in a text box, perform the format → text direction command, open the text Direction-text Box dialog box (Figure 3), select the "right" text direction style, and determine the return.

Position the text box to the left margin of the page and adjust the size and character position of the text box according to the size of the page. When you move the mouse over the edge of the text box to "Plum Blossom," Double-click the mouse to open the Format Text Box dialog box, in the Colors and Lines tab, set line to No color lines, and make sure to return.

Finally, click the Close button on the Header and Footer toolbar to return to the document editing status, and the seal line is finished (local effect is shown in Figure 4).

Tip: After adding a header, a horizontal line appears in the header, affecting the production of the paper, we can clear it in the following ways: Double click in the header, go back to the header and footer edit state, perform the format → border and shading command, open the Borders and Shading dialog box, and under the Borders tab, select No border style, then apply it to paragraph, and make sure you return it.

  Third, the production of columns page number

The quiz paper is printed in two columns, and there should be page numbers and total page numbers below each column.

Go back to the header and footer edit state, and then click the toggle between Headers and footers button on the Header and Footer toolbar to switch to the footer edit status. In the footer at the left column, do the following: Enter character "No." → Press "ctrl+f9" key combination insert field notation (pair of braces {}) → enter "=" in curly braces → Click the "Insert Page Number" button on the toolbar → and then enter the "*2-1" character → Enter the character "page Total" at the right outer side of the brace. → Press "ctrl+f9" key combination insert field Mark → enter "=" in curly brackets → Click the toolbar Insert page button → and then enter the "*2" character → Enter the character "page" at the right outer side of the brace.

In the footer at the right column, do the following: Enter the character "No." → Press "ctrl+f9" key combination insert field notation (pair of braces {}) → enter "=" in the curly braces → Click the Insert Page Number button of the toolbar → and then enter the "*2" character → Enter the character "page Total" in the right outer side of the braces → Press "Ctrl+f9" key Insert field notation → enter "=" in curly braces → Click the toolbar Insert page button → and then enter the "*2" character → Enter the character "page" at the right outer side of the brace (Figure 5).

Select all of the field codes above, right-click, and in the shortcut menu that pops up, select the Update field option and adjust the page number position. Finally, click the Close button on the Header and Footer toolbar to return to the editing status of the document, and the page number is finished.

 Iv. making the title of the examination paper

On the first page of the paper, usually have the paper title, name, rating column and other items, we can make a form.

Execute the format → columns command, open the Columns dialog box, select the two-column style, and adjust the spacing between columns to determine the return. Enter the title of the quiz paper (such as "XX xiaofeng Middle School Exam Volume"), set the font, font size, and align it center. Then use the Insert Table button on the Standard toolbar to insert a 4-row, 11-column table below the title. In the style of Figure 6, merge the related cells and enter the corresponding characters.

  Five, save as a template

Execute the file → save command, open the Save As dialog box, set Save type to document template, and name (such as "quiz paper") as a template. When you need to make a quiz paper, you can create a blank paper document by opening the file → New command, expanding the new File task pane, selecting the "Templates on this machine" option, open the Templates dialog box, and double-clicking the "quiz paper" template file.

Tip: Go to the Templates folder (usually located in C:documents and Settingsddapplication Datamicrosoft), save the "template. Dot" file backup, and when you reinstall the system, You can call this file directly by copying it to the folder above.
