Make a weekly calendar with Visio

Most companies and school departments work on the week, usually by first using Word to draw a form, and then fill in the corresponding content. Although this approach can also achieve the goal, but too simple plain text content is often not easy to attract the attention of the visitors. Here, I recommend another more efficient way to use Visio to make a weekly calendar.

1. Start Visio 2003 and select the file → new → project schedule → calendar menu command to create a new drawing page.
2. Select the shape week on the left side of the Calendar shapes panel, drag it to the drawing page, enter the calendar's start date in the pop-up configuration screen, and select the number of days to include and the date format to display, based on the actual situation, and then click the OK button.
3. On the drawing page, double-click the shape week, and then change the title, such as: "Development Department Week calendar (November 22-November 26)".
4. Then add the events to the weekly calendar as shown in the table below.
5. Select the shape travel-airplane on the Calendar Shapes panel and drag it to the Monday cell, then zoom out as needed, then double-click the Shape icon and enter the text in the text box "Wang Shanghai business Trip".
6. Select the shape meeting on the Calendar Shapes panel and drag it to the Tuesday cell, and then double-click the shape icon to enter the meeting name XXXXX Project meeting. To get everyone's attention, we need to drag the shape "attention" to the left of the Tuesday cell "meeting" shape and adjust the zoom to the appropriate size.
7. Select the shape multi-day event on the Calendar Shapes panel and drag it to the Wednesday cell to enter the event name in the configuration screen that pops up, such as "prepare for next week's product demo", set the start and end date, and then click the OK button.
8. Select the shape appointment on the Calendar Shapes panel and drag it to the Wednesday cell, then select the start and end time of the appointment in the pop-up configuration screen, enter the subject "XX customer Visit" and set the time display format, and click the "OK" button to close.
Cico tip: To enhance the display, we can also select the shape reminder to drag below the appointment shape and resize it.
9. On the Calendar Shapes panel, select both celebrate and birthday two shapes, and then drag to the Thursday cell, and appropriately reduce the scale of the celebration shape, and place it above the birthday shape. Double-click the "Birthday" shape and enter the text "Birthday".

At this point, we finished the weekly calendar, and then just print it out with the color effect.
