Make command, make
Make all: Compile programs, libraries, documents, etc. (equivalent to make) make install: install compiled programs. Copy the file tree to the specified location. make unistall: uninstall the installed program. Make clean: delete the file generated by the make command make distclean: delete. /configure file make check: test the software that you just compiled (some programs may not support) make installcheck: check the installed libraries and programs (some programs may not support) make dist: Re-package into packname-version.tar.gz
