Text (and other icons-like items) can become larger without changing the screen resolution of the monitor or laptop screen. In this way, you can make text easier to see, and you can set your monitor or laptop to the best resolution. Organize the Internet and Microsoft Official document release.
Open screen resolution in the following ways: Swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle, click "Search" (if you use the mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, then move the pointer down, click Search), enter "display" in the search box, and click or click "Settings" and "show" in turn.
Select one of the following actions:
"Smaller-100% (default)". This option keeps text and other items in their normal size.
"Medium-125%". This option can set text and other items to 125% of the normal size.
"Larger-150%". This option can set text and other items to 150% of the normal size. This option is displayed only if the monitor supports 1200 x 900 pixels above the resolution.
Click or click Apply.
To see the new text size, close all programs, and then log off Windows. Changes will take effect the next time you log on.
You can also change the text size of specific items in Windows, such as window title bars or tooltips, without changing the size of other content on the screen.
Open screen resolution in the following ways: Swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle, click "Search" (if you use the mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, then move the pointer down, click Search), enter "display" in the search box, and click or click "Settings" and "show" in turn.
Under Change text size only, select the item you want to change and select a text size. If you want the text to become bold, select the Bold check box.
Click or click Apply.
You will see the change effect the next time you log on to Windows.
You can also make text appear larger or smaller by changing the screen resolution, but if you use an LCD monitor or laptop, it's a good idea to set the screen to its original resolution to avoid text ambiguity. This is the resolution that the monitor or laptop screen is designed to display according to its size.
Let the monitor achieve the best display effect
Windows chooses the best display settings for your computer based on your monitor. If you want to adjust the display settings, or if you want to restore the changed settings to their default settings, you can try setting the display resolution to its original resolution or to the recommended resolution.
