Maven command Download source code and Javadocs

When using Maven in the IDE, if you want to see the source code and Javadoc of the classes in the referenced jar package need to download the source code through the MAVEN command and then introduce it, it is easy to achieve this with the MVN command:

mvn dependency:sources

mvn Dependency:resolve-dclassifier=javadoc

How to use the command: first go to the appropriate Pom.xml directory, and then execute the above command:

The first command is to try to download the source code of the files that are dependent on pom.xml.

The second command: is to try to download the corresponding Javadocs

However, it is possible that some files do not have source code or Javadocs

2: Add by configuration file

Open Maven configuration file Setting.xml file (.../.m2/settings.xml) Add the following configuration:

<profiles> <profile> <id>downloadSources</id> <properties> &LT;DOWNLOADSOURC Es>true</downloadsources> <downloadJavadocs>true</downloadJavadocs> </prope rties> </profile> </profiles> <activeProfiles> <activeprofile>downloadsources</ Activeprofile> </activeProfiles>

3: Configure Eclipse

Window > Preferences > Maven and checking the "Download Artifact Sources" and "Download Artifact JavaDoc" option S

The pom.xml adds a way to add the following:

<build>         <plugins>              <plugin>                  <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>                  <artifactId> Maven-eclipse-plugin</artifactid>                  <configuration>                      <downloadsources>true</ Downloadsources>                      <downloadJavadocs>true</downloadJavadocs>            &nbsP;     </configuration>              </plugin>         </plugins>

</build>

Add a remote repository in maven:

<profile>
<id>dev</id>
<repositories>
<repository>
<id>company</id>
<name>company</name>
<url>http://192.168.2.202:8081/nexus/content/repositories/releases/</url>
<releases>
<enabled>true</enabled>
</releases>
<snapshots>
<enabled>false</enabled>
</snapshots>
</repository>
</repositories>
<pluginRepositories>
<pluginRepository>
<id>company</id>
<name>company</name>
<url>http://192.168.2.202:8081/nexus/content/repositories/releases/</url>
<releases>
<enabled>true</enabled>
</releases>
<snapshots>
<enabled>false</enabled>
</snapshots>
</pluginRepository>
</pluginRepositories>
</profile>

Rewrite the URL to your own:

Recommended maven repositories:

http://mvnrepository.com/
http://search.maven.org/
http://repository.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/
http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-snapshot-repository/

http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-incubating-repository/

Files in setting at the same time in Pom.xml

<activeProfiles>
<activeProfile>dev</activeProfile>
</activeProfiles>

to export a jar package from the MAVEN repository: Enter the directory where the project Pom.xml is located and enter:

MVN Dependency:copy-dependencies-doutputdirectory=lib
