MES system will become a hot topic in Manufacturing Enterprise Informatization

Therefore, mes systems are indispensable for the informatization of the manufacturing industry, it can effectively build bridges between the management layer and the execution layer.

However, most of the current mes systems are developed for large-scale manufacturing, making it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to carry out mes projects. There are still the following difficulties for implementation in China:

1. Decision Makers of many manufacturing enterprises are not clear about the actual role of MES.

2. Many enterprise management systems are still influenced by traditional management ideas, and it is difficult to accept the transformation of MES systems for traditional management systems.

3. The construction of most MES systems is not self-innovative, and there are repetitive construction problems.

With the fierce competition in the manufacturing market, resources and labor costs in production are constantly increasing. Small and medium-sized enterprises have to find ways to reduce manual operations to improve production efficiency, this gives mes systems enough knowledge in small and medium-sized enterprises and provides a favorable space for future development. It will sooner or later become a hotspot of information technology.
