Today is nothing to do, test the Microsoft in the international version of Azure released in the RemoteApp Preview version, and share with you.
The full name of this cloud service is: Microsoft Azure RemoteApp. This service allows you to provide remote resources to the user, which refers to the application. Users can access these applications remotely, and they look like applications running locally on the user, but they do run in the cloud.

Each Azure subscription can create 5 RemoteApp services, supported by Windows Server R2, which hosts all of the resource mirrors. At present, Microsoft provides a preview version of a template has been built, and in this template to provide a number of common applications for testing.

As you can see, the main application of the desktop has been published. After the app is published, you need to download the client to access these apps, and of course you need a Microsoft account. You can click here to download the client, note that if you are using MacOSX or iOS, you need to switch the Apple Store to the U.S. region, China has not provided the client's download, the Legacy Client does not support the service. Client platform support is also very rich, in addition to Linux outside the mainstream system has a corresponding client available for download.

Once installed, open it and click on "Microsoft RemoteApp" in the top right corner to see the published app when you enter your account and password verification success.

Try to open some applications, the speed is acceptable, after all, my bandwidth is only 4 m, and copper cable.

Perhaps because of the preview version, the PowerShell provided here is version 1.0. I also tested the Office suite, the speed is not a problem, just because I use a Mac, so there is a small bug, the system pinyin input method does not work. Start thinking is a third-party input method problem, so loaded the Mac comes with the input method, can still not, even loaded the Japanese input method, or not. Tossing a night, all kinds of attempts to fail, just a bug it. It's strange that you can enter Chinese normally on ipad! On the win8.1, the third-party input method is also not working, and Microsoft input method can input Chinese normally.
For Office suites, the document store and on-premises apps can choose whether the storage location is local or cloud. Local storage is on a server that has a host RemoteApp, and cloud storage can choose OneDrive or Office 365 OneDrive for business.

I'm logged in with my OneDrive account, so there's a file on OneDrive in the list of recently opened documents. Because my Microsoft account also has an Office 365 subscription associated with it, you can see where you point to Office 365, but you'll need to sign in to Office 365 to store files in OneDrive for business.

Overall experience:
As a preview service, the overall feeling can be said to be very good! Some of the flaws of the Xu are unavoidable. Need to mention is IE, general browsing function is also good, but if you want to use the video, then for the graphics card and network bandwidth will be very high requirements. One thing that puzzles me is that the startup speed of applications in Windows is not ideal, much slower than on Mac systems and iOS systems.
The current preview phase, the service is free, the official release of the pricing has not been announced. For enterprise users, the service is a practical cloud service that can be considered. It breaks the limits of Office 365, where organizations can use it to publish their apps, and to qualify users for their apps.
Conditional friends can try, this no longer tangled with which computer. :))
