Microsoft launches latest version of IE9

The new IE9 takes full advantage of the potential of computer hardware to improve network browsing performance-including the introduction of a novel scripting engine Chakra, which uses multi-core CPUs to improve performance and IE9 browsing rendering speed to 11 times times IE8.

Microsoft says IE9 is the first browser to use full hardware acceleration, leveraging the capabilities of the Graphics processing Unit (GPU) to redistribute more graphics to the GPU rather than the CPU.

In terms of security, IE9 has added a stop-tracking (do-not-track) tool to keep users from monitoring the Internet's behavior. In addition, IE9 also widely supports unified standards such as HTML5, SVG, CSS3, and Dom.
