After WSUS server integration, you cannot directly update existing constructor resources. First, you must define a set of baselines and scan them to check whether the target host meets the baseline requirements. Update patches Based on the updates and patches set by the baseline.
This function is usually used to synchronize the patch versions between different nodes of the Failover cluster, and install special preconditions required for specific software. With automated patching, we can eliminate the limitations of manual patching that are prone to errors.
Step 2: In the library pane, check the existing patch name and number on the update directory, as shown in 27-47.

In step 2, in the "allocate scope" dialog box, you can see all hosts in the constructor. Select the corresponding hosts as needed, as shown in 27-51, and click "Next" to continue.

Step 2: complete the configuration. The new baseline name is displayed under "Update baseline". The number of hosts allocated to the baseline is shown in 27-52.

After completing the baseline configuration, you can update the baseline by checking its compliance (also known as Compliance. Update baselines must be completed in the constructor.
Step 2: In the "structure" pane, click "servers"> "all hosts", click "compliance" at the top, as shown in 27-53. In this case, the baseline name and compliance status are displayed on the host that matches the baseline.

Step 2: press Ctrl to check all hosts and click scan on the top, as shown in 27-54. After scanning, the host that does not contain the corresponding patch will display "non-conforming", as shown in 27-54.

Step 2: In the "Update correction" dialog box that appears, select the host and baseline to be corrected, as shown in 27-56. Note that you can check whether to restart the server after the correction is completed, and correct the hyper-V host for the Failover cluster. We recommend that you use the "real-time migration" correction method to reduce downtime, as shown in 27-56.

Step 2: After you start the correction job, you can see the execution logic of its business in the job pane, including saving virtual machines (or real-time migration) install and update, start a new computer in Chongqing, and start a scan, as shown in 27-57.

Step 2: There are three States for the corrected results, as shown in 27-58.
Correction failed, compliance is still not in the status, you need to manually correct the error to confirm the cause of the failure.
The correction is complete, but the server needs to be restarted.
The correction is completed without any errors.

By integrating WSUS and defining specific baselines, you can quickly and accurately update existing construction resources, reduce the inefficiency and high error rate of manual patching, and achieve more advanced automatic management.
