The Mifare IC chip contains the EEPROM, rfinterface, and digital control unit.
1. rfrf Interface
Rfrf interface circuits mainly include waveform conversion modules. It can receive the 13.56mhz radio modulation frequency on the card reader. On the one hand, it sends the modulation/Demodulation module, and on the other hand it converts the waveform, converts the sine wave into a square wave, and then rectifies and filters it, the voltage control module further processes the voltage, including voltage regulation, and finally outputs the circuits on the card. The por module performs power-on-Reset (power-on Reset) on each circuit on the card to enable the circuits synchronously.
2. Digital Circuits
The digital circuit consists of atrmodule, anticollisionmodule, select applicationmodule, Control & arithmetic unit, RAM/romunit, and crypto unit.
Control & arithmetic unit (unit of control and arithmetic operations) is the control center of the entire card and the "mind" of the card ". It performs micro-operation control on each unit of the entire card and coordinates the steps of the card. It also performs arithmetic operations and incremental/progressive processing on various received/sent data, CRC operations, and so on. Is a built-in central microprocessor (MCU) unit in a card.
Ram is mainly used with control and arithmetic operation units to temporarily store the operation results. If some data needs to be stored in the EEPROM, the control and arithmetic operation units are taken out and sent to the EEPROM Memory; if some data needs to be transmitted to the reader, it is taken out by the Control and arithmetic operation units, processed by the rfrf interface circuit, and transmitted to the card reader through the antenna on the card. Data in Ram will be cleared after the card loses power (the card is out of the valid work range of the reader antenna. at the same time, the ROM also solidified the necessary program commands required for card operation, which were taken out by the Control and arithmetic operation units for microinstruction control of each unit. Enable the card to communicate with the card reader in an orderly manner.
Crypto unit (Data Encryption unit) completes data encryption and password protection. The encryption algorithm can be des standard algorithm or other.
3. eerom
This unit is mainly used to store data. The data in the eeprom will be maintained after the card loses power (the card is out of the valid working range of the reader antenna. The data to be stored is stored in this unit.
