One. MongoDB CREATE database: Use command

MongoDB use database_name is used to create a database. The command creates a new database and returns the existing database if it does not exist.

Example:

If you want to create a database name <mydb, then the use database statement is as follows:

> Usemydbswitched to DB mydb

To check the currently selected database using command DB

>dbmydb

If you want to check the database list, use the command show DBS.

>show dbslocal     0. 78125GBtest      0.23012GB

The database created by MyDB does not exist in the list. To display the database, you need to insert it into at least one file.

The default database test in MongoDB. If no database is created, then the collection is stored in the test database.

Two. MongoDB Delete database: Dropdatabase () method

The MongoDB db.dropdatabase () command is used to delete an existing database.

The basic syntax for the dropdatabase () command is as follows:

Db.dropdatabase ()

This will delete the selected database. If you have not selected any databases, then it will delete the default ' test ' database

First, check the list database by using the command show DBS

If you want to delete the new database <mydb>, then the dropdatabase () command is as follows:
