There are too many files on the Windows desktop, recently found that C-slot free space is too little, the computer is running more and more slowly, what method can you move the entire desktop folder of Windows to the rest of the system's hard disk location? I have the following methods:
Method/Step
1 You can change the location of the desktop without changing the registry, click on the desktop Administrator
2 Find Desktop or Desktop folder click right button as shown:
3 Change the location of your desktop folder.
4 Check if the setup is successful! Find a file on the desktop right-click property to see if the file path is in a disk other than the C disk. As shown in figure:
Note the Desktop folder preset for Windows is placed in the "Users" folder in the C disk, however, folders such as "desktop," "User," "My Documents," "My movies," and so on in the media cabinet belong to a more specific folder type.
