MQ installation Configuration

MQ 6.0

I. Installation

1. Run MQ InstallationProgram

2. Choose custom installation

3. Select Server feature

4. Follow the default settings for installation in other steps.

5. Install the csd11 patch by default.

Ii. Configuration

1. Run the "Prepare WebSphere MQ wizard"

2. Select whether the system is a domain controller.

3. Perform other steps according to the default configuration.

4. Run the WebSphere MQ Resource Manager

5. Configure the queue manager

Enter the queue manager name and check the name before setting it to the default queue manager.

Other configurations are performed according to the system default configuration. The Queue Manager is created here.

6. Configure the channel (select the server connection channel)

Enter the channel name

Input the MCA user ID (musr_mqadmin)

The remaining parts are configured by default. The channel has been created.

7. Configure the queue (select a local queue)

Input Queue name

Other configurations are configured by default. The queue is created.
