MTK meta tool usage and precautions (mt6252)

Environment: win7 laptop

Meta: 6.112.160.0 (the latest version of Internal Relations from Friends)

Mobile Phone platform: mt6252

Software Version: 10a

Connection line: dedicated data cable (non-standard USB download line)

 

For MTK developers, Meta is an important tool that can solve many problems regardless of hardware and software. It took a long time to get through the entire process. The key steps and precautions were written to avoid detours.

1. Use a dedicated download data line. At first, I used a USB download cable for several days without making any progress. I read almost all the materials on the Internet, Chinese and foreign languages, and finally found some definite evidence, the data line is wrong.

2. Connect the data cable to the computer. This will prompt you to install the response driver. Based on the data cable type, find the response driver and install it.

3. After the driver is installed, the responding virtual serial port will appear. This is very important. You need to select meta here.Serial PortBy default, USB is selected. Otherwise, the phone can be connected, but no valid operation can be performed.

 

4. Connect to the instance when the instance is shut down, and then press the prompt to start the instance. The connection page is displayed.

 

5. After successful connection, you can test related functions.

 

 

6. IMEI write number.

7. Read and restore parameters.

 

8. NVRAM online update.
