/ETC/NAGIOS/OBJECTS/TEMPLATES.CFG # is used to monitor host resources and services ( known as objects in Nagios). To not repeat the definition of some monitoring objects,Nagios introduces a template location file that defines some common attributes as templates for multiple references

/etc/nagios/objects/resource.cfg # defines the Nagios variable file with only one row of content,

$USER 1$=/usr/local/nagios/libexec

# where the variable $USER 1$ Specifies the path to install the Nagios plugin, if the plugin is installed in a different path, just modify it here, it is important to note that the variable must be defined before it can be referenced in other configuration files

/ETC/NAGIOS/OBJECTS/CONTACTS.CFG # defines the profiles for contacts and contact groups,and Nagios will make the specified notification mode (mail or Send a message to the contact or user designated here

/ETC/NAGIOS/OBJECTS/TIMEPERIODS.CFG # used to define the time period for monitoring
