This is because the network settings in the firewall is not filled with DNS, in most cases NetScreen firewall does not need to configure DNS, but if you need to do DNS relay, or address book to join the domain name of the address will need to configure the firewall DNS.

In the "Networks-dns-host" of the NetScreen firewall, enter the network provider's DNS,SRC interface to select an interface for the extranet. If the DNS server is an intranet server, select the interface on your intranet.
