Second, Ghost Network version of the installation

Small knowledge: Usually speaking of "ghost network Version" actually only extracts the Ghost Enterprise Edition part function. It is identified as Symantec Ghost and is distinguished from Norton Ghost for individual users.

For the Ghost Network version of the installation, the Internet spread a relatively broad way is by modifying the configuration file, and then in the client operation, the command line after their own parameters. Because each client has to manually execute the command, plus parameters, and each client's parameters are different, easy to remember mixed.

When the preparation is done, you can start installing the Ghost server. We are installing the Ghost 7.0 Enterprise Edition.

Installation is very simple, generally direct click "Next" on it.

Third, the production of client startup disk

The server side is ready and the client is ready. First make the client's startup disk.

Click "Start" "program", "Symantec Ghost", "Ghost Boot Wizard". This is the Production wizard for the client startup disk (see Figure 8)

Click on the first "network Boot Disk". (See Figure 9)

The NIC selection prompt appears. According to their own network card can choose their own network card model, we use the 8139 network card as an example, to explain. Select the DOS driver for the 8139 NIC, select "Rtspkt.com" and click "Open". (See Figure 12)

Back to the property prompt box. In "Parameters", enter "0x60" This is the soft interrupt number of 8139 network card. Note: The number 0 plus the letter x is followed by the number 60.
