Setting up an Infrastructure wireless network for a home is similar to that for an Ad-hoc network. Pay attention to the following points.

Wireless Network card settings (1 ):If the DHCP server of the wireless router is configured to dynamically allocate IP addresses, do not specify IP addresses for the wireless network adapter in the TCP/IP protocol to avoid any inconvenience. The DHCP server automatically assigns an IP address to the wireless network card. If the IP address of the DHCP server of the wireless network adapter and the new wireless system's wireless router is not "synchronized", you can restart the wireless client computer.

Wireless Network card settings (2 ):You can use the indicator on the wireless network card or the wireless network card icon in the toolbar in the lower-right corner of the Windows desktop to determine whether the wireless network card is connected to the wireless router. In general, red indicates that the wireless network is not connected. If green indicates that the wireless network has been searched and connected properly.

Wireless Network card settings (3 ):In the toolbar in the lower-right corner of the Windows desktop, you can set the main parameters of the wireless Nic. In the "Network Mode" option, select "Infrastructure" Mode, that is, the Mode in which the wireless Network adapter is connected to the Wireless AP.

In the "SSID" option, if the wireless router sets the broadcast mode, you can select the "ANY (First Available Access Point)" automatic detection mode. If there is no Broadcast SSID, enter the SSID name you set in the wireless router.
