New Chrome no longer automatically plays background tab audio
Google introduced the "noise tab" prompt in Chrome 32, but it is not very convenient for you to find it in actual use, especially after you open many separate windows and tabs. The good news is that Google will not play any audio sources (including videos) by default in the coming Chrome browser, unless you mention that tab to the front-end. In addition, it is easier to search for audio tabs.
Chrome engineer Fracois Beaufort said on Google +:
In the latest version of Chrome, the browser will delay the automatic playback of media until the tab is switched to the front-end. In this way, no one will ever make a comment, 'Where did this sound come from? 'Question.
Related Resources are pre-loaded, but Chrome will postpone playback until you are actually accessing this tab. This function will not only make people feel happy, but also make Chrome more energy-saving.
Although there are some "Zhuge Liang" after the event, we are very much looking forward to this feature coming to the Chrome stable version a little earlier.
