0And preparations

Connect to the Console port of the vswitch through the COM port of the computer. Cisco provides a com-console line along with the device.
If you use a notebook without a comport, You need to purchase a USB-com connector and install the corresponding driver.Program.
First, you need to log on to the vswitch through the Console port, set a password for the vswitch 2918, and assign an IP address so that the PC and other devices on the network can discover it.

Add a VLAN on 3560. The VLAN is the configuration information and is stored in the flash memory of the switch as a file. You can use the show flash command to view the VLAN. dat file in flash.

VLANDivide all the vswitch ports into different CIDR blocks for Secure isolation. After VLAN division, you can add any port of the switch to any VLAN.

Run show ip arp on the vswitch to display the MAC address and Client IP address of the client. Show Mac-ADDR to display the MAC address of the client device connected to the vswitch and the port number of the access switch;
Therefore, the vswitch port connected to any IP address can be found by combining two commands.

 

Thinking: layer-3 Switch 3560 Port 2 is connected directly to the PC, Port 1 is configured to connect the trunk port to the 2918 switch, Port 1 of the 2918 switch is connected to a Wireless AP, and then three laptop wireless APs are connected to the Internet. Analyze the communication lines and check whether they are correct.
