New platform, new version, ComponentOne, and componentone

We are happy to announce the release of V1. you can download and try it for free.

This year, ComponentOne will focus on WinForm, WPF, MVC, UWP platforms, and the Flex family of core controls.

This release mainly includes the UWP platform, the FlexSheet control of the WinForm platform, the FlexSheet control of the MVC platform, and the Beta version of FlexChart, FlexReport, and C1Word library.

 

UWP Platform

 

UWP is a Universal Windows application platform. It is the latest development platform launched by Microsoft. We released the Beta version in May last October, which is very popular. Now we officially release it. It includes more than 50 controls migrated from the WinRT platform and beta versions of some new controls.

 

• FlexReport (Beta)

Last year, we released FlexReport on the WinForms platform, and now the beta version of the UWP platform is released. This beta version is a lite version, but you can still get an independent FlexReport designer, cross-device FlexViewer, and other reporting tools. The official version will be released later in May 2016. C1Word library beta is also added to this release.

 

• FlexChart, FlexPie (Beta)

This super powerful chart control allows you to select from dozens of chart types and easily integrate its built-in functions, such as line marking and legends, as well as pie charts with explosive slices. It is expected to be officially released in March.

 

ASP. net mvc Platform

 

• FlExSheet: A Web-based workbook similar to Excel

FlexSheet supports TagHelper and is compatible with ASP. NET Core. You can add the main functions of an Excel worksheet to your web application, including more than 100 built-in and automatic formulas.

 

 

By importing, exporting, and flexibly Binding data, you will get all the main functions of a workbook application. In our SignalR example, you can edit multiple devices at the same time. FlexSheet is only available in ComponentOne Studio and Ultimate versions.

 

• FlexViewer (BEta): view reports in the browser

This is a fast and flexible HTML5-based report viewer. You can easily display C1Report and FlexReport in a browser. The SVG-based pixel perfect report Presentation and comprehensive printing support give users a high-quality experience. With the FlexReport designer of C1 and our built-in WebAPI, you can quickly create and display reports.

 

Export formats: PDF, HTML, RTF, Excel, Open XML (Word/Excel), TIFF, BMP, PNG, JPEG, and GIF.

 

 

WinForms Platform

 

• Flexcript: Millions of rows of data processed in seconds

It takes only a few milliseconds to process and aggregate millions of rows of data. It is a new Pivot table in ComponentOne. For details, see Pivotfor WinForms. Built on a powerful data engine, this rich-featured control provides a modern UI and lightning-fast processing speed, providing your users with a more powerful and faster experience than ever before. Flexpattern can only be obtained in ComponentOne Studio and Ultimate versions.

 

C1Word Library (Beta)

You can use the C1Word library to create Word files with advanced functions in enterprise applications. Currently, Beta is available on UWP, WinForms, and WPF platforms. It supports multiple fonts and attributes, including adding bookmarks, hyperlinks, metafiles, and various paper sizes.

 

Other functions: images, text, paragraphs, images, references, text streams, and tables.
